About Me
Hi, I’m Trea Bailey—an artist and animator based in Dallas, TX and working at Brazen Animation as a visual development artist, character designer, and 2D animator.
My past work includes projects like Disenchanted (2022) and Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021), and most recent and notably, I was the character designer for Magic: The Gathering's trailer for Bloomburrow. Other past clients include Kirk Wise, Warner Bros, Yowza!, Company 3, CBA Studios, Sesame Street, and Capitol CMG.
I've had the great opportunity to learn under and/or work with industry giants like John Pomeroy, Tom Bancroft, and Kirk Wise... and that's not to leave out some of the other impressive folks I've had the pleasure of working with. For real, I cannot imagine how I've found myself in the room with such incredible talents-- it's all an incredible blessing, and I'm very grateful that I get to call this a career.
I’m always looking for new ways to push my designs and storytelling. When I'm not sketching or journaling, you'll find me in stationery shops, exploring historic districts, walking my pup, playing guitar, or in a cafe enjoying a cup of coffee...
